Toddy Chalit Kobuakaew

Executive Sous Chef at Waldorf Astoria Bangkok,

Thai national Chalit ‘Toddi’ Kobuakaew joined Waldorf Astoria Bangkok’s pre-opening team as Chef de Cuisine of The Brasserie. He has been recently promoted as Executive Sous Chef in early 2019 to work closely with Executive Chef Alessandro Santi to look after restaurant and banquet operations.

His professional culinary experience began in 2007 when he was a commis at Bangkok’s Peninsular Hotel. He then climbed up the kitchen ladder in leading luxury hotels in Bangkok, including The Sukhothai, W Hotel and The Okura Prestige, before joining the Waldorf Astoria in November 2017.
